HPI's hyper-detailed 1/43 scale diecast model line-up now includes the Lancia
Stratos HF. The Stratos was the first "homologation special" rally car, with
only 492 cars produced to meet the rules for WRC competition. And compete it
did, with three successive World Rally Championship titles in 1974, 1975 and
1976. Bold futuristic styling by Bertone and dominance in competition make the
Stratos one of the most famous rally cars of all time. This HPI diecast 1/43
scale model is a replica of the HF Stradale car #2 piloted by S. Munari and M.
Mannucci at the Rallye Sanremo in 1974, featuring red/white paint, Lancia Italia
logos and silver racing wheels.
These precision diecast metal models are 1/43 scale, a convenient size for any
desk or display case. Incredible attention has been paid to make the shape of
cars as true to scale as possible. Fine exterior details like radiators, disc
brakes, brake calipers, mirrors, wings, exhaust, headlight buckets, mirrors, tow
hooks and radio antennae combine to make the models extremely realistic. Each
car has a fully painted and detailed interior, steering wheel, and dashboard.
These models come mounted to a display platform that includes a clear plastic
protective case and the car can be easily removed from the platform for
individual display.
Remember: all of these fantastic recreations are made in limited quantities,
once gone they will never be available again.
